Contractor Tracking Certificate (CTC) Application - This application needs to be completed by all Contractors who have a job in the Town Limits (view Town Limit Map here). CTCs are valid from 1 October through 30 September. The cost is $20 for the year, $10 after 1 April. Along with this application, we will need your: 1) Current Workman's Compensation Insurance, 2) Current Liability Insurance, 3) Current State License (if applicable) and 4) Current Okaloosa County Business Tax or Competency Certificate. The CTC application can be filled in online, but you will still need to print it, sign it and bring it by Town Hall, email it to us (clerk@shalimarflorida.org), or (snail) mail it to us. If you decide to email your application, be sure to include all other required documentation. Also, you will need to (snail) mail us a check. Building Permit Application - If you have hired a contractor to have work done on your home or are doing repair work yourself, you will almost definitely need to come to us for a Building Permit before you get a permit with Okaloosa County Growth Management (County requirements for working within the Town Limits can be found here). This Application will also be used for Cable Installation/Maintenance and as a Sign Permit (temporary AND permanent signs). Please see our Building Permit Fee Chart to figure out your fee (it is based on the cost of the work being done).
